Topping-out ceremony held for state-of-the-art logistics facility in Sweden’s prime logistics location

Yesterday, Panattoni — one of Europe’s largest developers of modern logistics properties — celebrated the topping-out ceremony for Panattoni Park Mölnlycke. The modern logistics facility is taking shape in one of Sweden’s most sought-after logistics locations, just outside Gothenburg. The project, which broke ground last autumn, has maintained a high construction pace and is expected to be ready for occupancy already by the summer.

Panattoni Park Mölnlycke is being developed in close collaboration with the investor CapMan Real Estate and the contractor YLAB and is located in a strategic position with excellent access to central Gothenburg, Landvetter Airport, and the Port of Gothenburg—Sweden’s most important logistics hub.

Around 120 guests gathered yesterday to mark the topping-out ceremony and to recognize the rapid progress of the project. Attendees included partners, representatives from Härryda Municipality, and future tenants. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the construction process and serves as confirmation of the strong momentum maintained since the start of the project.

The facility will offer an optimal logistics location with flexible spaces ranging from 5,000 to 43,000 square meters, combined with a strong sustainability profile. The project includes initiatives focused on circularity, biodiversity preservation, installation of solar panels, and smart energy solutions.

Fredrik Jagersjö Rosell, CEO of Panattoni Nordics, highlighted the importance of collaboration and efficiency during the ceremony:

“We are proud of this project, which is yet another testament to how efficient our construction process can be. The result is a modern and flexible building that can quickly be adapted for various types of operations. YLAB and their subcontractors have worked at an impressive pace despite challenges with groundwork and a cold winter,” said Fredrik Jagersjö Rosell.

The Chairman of the Municipal Executive Committee in Härryda Municipality, Per Vorberg, also attended the celebration:

“It is fantastic to stand here again after breaking ground in August and see how much progress Panattoni and YLAB have achieved. The fact that the first tenants are planning to move in already after the summer is clear proof that Härryda is an attractive and growing municipality,” said Per Vorberg.

Panattoni established its Nordic operations in 2022 and has since maintained a strong ambition to modernize and develop the industrial and logistics property sector. The project in Mölnlycke is an important step in this direction and strengthens the Gothenburg region’s position as one of Sweden’s fastest-growing logistics clusters.
