Bring’s Shelfless becomes first tenant in Panattoni's new logistics park in Åstorp

Last year, Panattoni – one of Europe's largest developers of modern logistics properties – completed its first logistics facility in Åstorp, just outside Helsingborg, totaling 46,000 sqm. It is now confirmed that Shelfless will move into 11,300 sqm of space, with the possibility to expand further in the future. The relocation takes place from Klippan and means that the employees from there will have access to a new, state-of-the-art workplace.

“We are very proud of the Åstorp project, which is another example of how speculative development allows us to respond quickly to market demands. The facility offers high flexibility and sustainability, and the fact that a company like Shelfless has chosen to establish operations here, clearly shows we’ve created an attractive product,” says Patrik Lööv-Wallin, Project Development Manager at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Åstorp is certified according to BREEAM Outstanding – one of the first speculatively built logistics properties in Europe to achieve this environmental certification. The building is prepared for rooftop solar panels and equipped with charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. As part of the sustainability efforts, 30-year-old oak trees have been relocated to the site and planted near the loading area. A hybrid heating solution has also been installed to reduce operating costs and carbon emissions over the building’s lifecycle, while improving redundancy and operational reliability. Throughout the project, materials have been carefully selected to minimize the climate footprint and operational costs – leading to features like seamless flooring and intelligent energy management systems.

The facility, developed in partnership with investor CBRE Investment Management, boasts a prime signage location along the E4 highway and offers flexible layouts that can be customized for multiple tenants.
