The warehouse will comprise three fully climate-controlled areas, with a clear height of 10.65 metres and 2,615 sqm of office space. It will also feature a total of 48 loading docks, distributed across three of the building’s four façades. The logistics park will provide 87 HGV parking spaces, charging points for trucks and electric vehicles, and 469 parking spaces for light vehicles.
It is worth highlighting that the area of the country where the warehouse will be built is internationally recognised for its high-quality cork production. In tribute to this local identity, the office façade will incorporate cork, promoting and showcasing this regional industry. In terms of energy, the project will have an installed capacity of 5 MW and will include a rooftop photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 500 kW.
Regarding sustainable construction certification, the project will achieve BREEAM Outstanding, the highest level of this certification, significantly exceeding sustainability standards across the eight assessment categories: management, health and wellbeing, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use and ecology, pollution and innovation.
