Panattoni, new strategic projects in Italy

Panattoni is the leading developer of modern warehouses and industrial spaces in Europe, with a presence in the continent's key logistics markets, including Germany, France, the UK, Spain, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Italy.

A recently acquired logistics development in Ospedaletto Lodigiano - strategically located along the Milan-Piacenza corridor - involves the construction of a 15,000 sqm Grade A facility. Located just 30 minutes from Milan city center, the project is designed to meet BREEAM "Very Good" certification standards. Also in the pipeline is a brownfield development in Scarmagno, at the former Olivetti complex, where the company has finalized the purchase of a 24-hectare site with a buildable area of ​​86,000 sqm (gross floor area).

These deals demonstrate Panattoni’s commitment to expanding its pipeline of projects and investments in the Italian market - covering both speculative and built-to-suit developments - to meet growing tenant demand for modern, eco-sustainable facilities. The company’s Milan office, led by Jean-Luc Saporito, became operational earlier this year.

With the acquisition of the first brownfield site in the Scarmagno area, Panattoni is strengthening its presence in Italy while aiming to reduce the environmental impact of its future operations. The outlook for 2022 appears very promising".

Furthermore, for the sixth consecutive year - and with nearly 7 million square meters of built space developed over the last three years - Panattoni has been recognized as the n°1 logistics developer according to the rankings of the authoritative pan-European publication Property EU.
