Panattoni Park Bilbao I

'Panattoni Park Bilbao City I,' located in the Abra Industrial Polygon in the municipality of Abanto y Ciérvana (Vizcaya), is built on a 12,000 sqm plot and features a state-of-the-art warehouse of 7,600 sqm. Specifically, the property includes space for Herko's factory of 7,100 sqm and offices spanning 460 sqm.

The new facility offers a strategic location just 5 minutes from the SuperPort of Bilbao and 15 minutes from the center of Bilbao, with direct access from the A8 highway. Thanks to the excellent connections provided by 'Panattoni Park Bilbao City I,' Herko has chosen this space to install an assembly line for the in-line manufacturing of its vehicles powered by autogas and bioautogas.

The newly constructed building has a free height of 11 meters, along with 10 loading docks to facilitate factory operations. Additionally, it offers 82 spaces for private car parking with chargers for electric vehicles and a maneuvering area of 32 meters.

The property has been designed with the highest sustainability standards and holds the environmental guarantee provided by the BREEAM 'Very Good' sustainable construction certification. This aligns with the sustainability strategy 'Go Earthwise with Panattoni' and Herko's values, emphasizing sustainability and decarbonization by offering zero net-emission vehicles. The building features solar panels with a capacity of 100 kW and an intelligent LED lighting system, providing a modern and environmentally friendly space that supports the well-being of workers and the local environment.

This marks Panattoni's second project in Euskadi. The logistics developer has also finished 'Panattoni Park Vitoria,' located in the Júndiz Industrial Estate (Vitoria), which consists of of  a 20,200 sqm warehouse and the possibility to develop a second warehouse of 13,000 sqm.

With these two projects, Panattoni reinforces its commitment to the northern Iberian Peninsula, providing modern infrastructure that enhances and optimizes the industrial fabric of Euskadi. The company continues to diversify its projects, moving beyond traditional markets and offering new alternatives for its clients.
