Panattoni, the leading project developer for industrial and logistics properties in Europe, is delighted to announce that it has achieved full occupancy at Panattoni Park Hamburg Nord in Nützen, Schleswig-Holstein. As soon as construction work was complete, Panattoni handed over the two final remaining units, Halls 2 and 3, to their new user: The Quality Group GmbH, based in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein. The Group is a leading manufacturer of innovative sports performance and dietary nutrition products. All of its products are developed in partnership with nutritionists, with the majority produced in-house in Germany.
The Quality Group now has a total usable space of 18,716 m2 at its disposal. Hall 2 comprises 6,082 m2 of hall space, 604 m2 of office space and 209 m2 of mezzanine space, while Hall 3 offers 10,517 m2 of hall space, 494 m2 of office space and 810 m2 of mezzanine space. Panattoni handed the premises over to the new user in late May 2022, immediately after the completion of construction work. The Quality Group will use the site to process logistics for its Fitmart, More Nutrition, ESN and Got7 brands.
Timo Meyer, CEO of Fitmart GmbH & Co. KG, issued the following comments on the new premises: “As a company local to the region, we are delighted to have found space in the Panattoni Park in Nützen, with its outstanding location and connections to Hamburg and Kiel. We would like to thank Panattoni for working with us in a spirit of partnership.”
With The Quality Group moving in, Panattoni Park Hamburg Nord has become the first Panattoni Park with five halls to achieve full occupancy. The property has a total usable space of 69,737 m2, including 56,394 m² of hall space, 4,980 m² of office space and 8,362 m² of mezzanine space, with a clear internal hall height of 10 m (to bottom of roof girders). The Panattoni Park was constructed without pre-letting on the 127,900 m2 plot and received Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in recognition of its sustainable, energy-efficient design.
It benefits from a strategically favourable location, approximately 40 km from the centre of Hamburg and its major international port. Hamburg airport is just 30 km from the site, while the Elbe tunnel is only 25 minutes away by road. The Panattoni Park has a direct connection to the A7 autobahn, while the A21 and A1 autobahns are also less than 45 minutes away by road. Furthermore, the Panattoni Park enjoys excellent public transport connections, with bus and rail stations within a five-minute walk. The port city of Kiel is around 60 km away.
In addition to The Quality Group, the Panattoni Park has already welcomed two other residents: Invicta Interior GmbH & Co. KG, a wholesaler of exclusive designer furniture and home accessories, and the online furniture retailer Riess Ambiente GmbH. Invicta Interior occupies Hall 1, which has a total usable area of 7,898 m2, while Riess Ambiente has a total usable area of 43,022 m2 in Halls 4 and 5. Both users signed rental agreements within the last 12 months.
“Achieving full occupancy at Panattoni Park Hamburg Nord is an outstanding success given the size and complexity of the project. It demonstrates once again that our strategy of anticipatory development in prime logistics and business locations allows us to respond swiftly and flexibly to the needs of our customers and partners,” said Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni for Germany and Austria. “We hope the site’s future users enjoy their new premises and would like to thank everyone involved in the project for their support in realising the Park.”
Logivest acted as logistics real estate consultant for the new user, while Colliers Hamburg and Savills Hamburg were responsible for marketing the Panattoni Park.
