Panattoni Europe named Industrial Developer of the Year at CEEQA 2018 AWARDS

Panattoni Europe chosen as Industrial Developer of the Year out of 12 companies! The jury of this year’s edition of the prestigious CEE Quality Awards (CEEQA) 2018 decided to award the company its sixth Industrial Developer of the Year title.

The Industrial Developer of the Year title for the achievements of 2017 goes to Panattoni Europe. The verdict was announced on 25 April 2018 at the awards ceremony of the prestigious CEE Real Estate Quality Awards (CEEQA) 2018. This is Panattoni Europe’s sixth title in this category. In this year’s edition, a total of 12 industrial space developers from Central-Eastern and Southern Europe were nominated. The jury, composed of respected senior representatives of market leading firms, assessed the nominees in terms of their business achievements in industrial projects last year, company performance and contribution to the growth of this segment of the real estate sector. Nominee evaluation, selection and award processes were overseen by the international advisory firm Deloitte.

Panattoni Europe – the best out of twelve contestants! The choice of the Industrial Developer of the Year at CEEQA 2018 was decided by hard data – Panattoni’s business performance and achievements in 2017. And these are: 1.8 million sqm space built in Central and Eastern Europe, 57 per cent of all industrial space developed in Poland in 2017 and 49 per cent of all transactions in the Polish market. The biggest projects include the contract to build 135,000 sqm for Amazon in Sosnowiec, 79,000 sqm for BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego Sp. z o.o. in Łódź, 101,000 sqm for the Castorama chain in Stryków, as well as contracts signed for the development of manufacturing facilities – two factories for Kongsberg in Brześć and Koluszki (19,273 sqm and 10,652 sqm respectively). The company created Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub – the largest logistics complex in Poland, at present with one 79,000-square-metre building completed and three more under development, totalling 175,000 sqm, and with prospects of expansion up to 300,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. Panattoni is also one of the most active developers in Germany, and in 2017 announced a merger with a reputable UK developer – First Industrial, creating a new entity operating under the name First Panattoni, with share capital amounting to £300m.

Industrial Developer of the Year for 2017 (awarded at CEEQA 2018) is the sixth CEEQA title won by Panattoni Europe. In previous editions the company won the award for its business achievements in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017. Moreover, Carl Panattoni, the company’s founder and owner, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement in Real Estate award, while Robert Dobrzycki was named Personality of the Year 2011. Dobrzycki offered the following comment on this year’s award: “Since the beginning of Panattoni Europe, every year has been active for us.
