Panattoni Europe for Hydroline in Stargard

Panattoni Europe, industrial real estate leader in Europe, has started the construction of a factory for Hydroline, a Finnish manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders. The new facility, featuring 13,000 sqm is being built in Stargard, at the High Technologies Industrial Park, according to the BTS formula. Completion of the project is anticipated in June 2019.

When growing – do it only with Panattoni. Hydroline – a pioneer and industry leader in hydraulics equipment in Finland, is also growing in Poland. The enterprise is responding to the dynamic growth in orders by increasing its production capacity. That is why a decision was made to build a manufacturing facility in Stargard, next to the existing plant. The new 13,000-square-metre facility will be developed by Panattoni Europe and will be three times the size of the existing plant. The manufacturing zone will take up in excess of 12,000 sqm and will be prepared with a view to future expansion. This part of the facility will feature: a compressed air room, a paint room and a forklift battery room. The floor will have a load-bearing capacity of up to 7t/sqm, and due to human labour the facility will be equipped with skylights accounting for 12.5 per cent of the roof area, and LED lighting intensity will be enhanced up to as much as 500 lux. The office and staff facilities will take up close to 1,000 sqm. It is planned that the facility will be manned by 110 people, who will be able to start work in the new place already in the coming June.

The latest investment by Panattoni Europe is an example of a factory relocation – based on “a complicated collaborative structure, which involves moving the entire technology of the future owner in as little time as possible. The priority is to maintain the continuity of Hydroline production lines” emphasises Marek Foryński, Managing Director BTS Group at Panattoni Europe, adding: “Meeting the tight schedule, already at the preparatory phase, would not have been possible without very good cooperation and support from the City Hall”.

Panattoni Europe was the first in Poland to recognise the need for developing industrial projects designed according to the guidelines of their future users. Such investments are implemented for clients who have personalised needs, as e.g. in the case of manufacturing facilities, and are one of the options available in the developer’s extensive product range. In 2018 alone, Panattoni Europe started building 200,000 sqm of manufacturing space, including the largest dishwasher factory (58,500 sqm) for BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego in Łódź at the Central European Logistics Hub; a 10,000-square-metre hydraulic components factory for Voss Fluid at the Legnica Special Economic Zone, or the third factory to be developed by Panattoni Europe for IDEAL AUTOMOTIVE. The latter was erected in Świdnica, at the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park, totalling approx. 27,400 sqm.
