Expansion of Panattoni Park Tychy. Regesta leases an additional 10,700 sqm

Panattoni, the leading European industrial developer, is to enlarge Panattoni Park Tychy, primarily to make room for the expansion of Regesta in the complex. The logistics operator has opted to increase the space it occupies in the park almost threefold, from 6,500 sqm at present to 17,200 sqm. The latest stage of the complex is to be completed in February 2021, with Regesta starting operations in the new space in March. After the extension work, Panattoni Park Tychy will have a total area of 52,934 sqm.

Everywhere’s good, but it’s even better at Panattoni Park Tychy. The developer will be extending Panattoni Park Tychy by an additional 17,000 sqm. As much as 10,700 sqm of the new space will be occupied by Regesta S.A., which had already leased 6,500 sqm in the park. This will soon be increased to a total area of 17,200 sqm. The project is scheduled for completion in February 2021, with Regesta moving into its new space in March.

Regesta S.A. is a company with 25 years of experience and a workforce of more than 600 employees. It operates in the TSL sector, offering comprehensive logistics and warehousing services along with transportation with coil-mulda trailers, while providing services for construction firms as well as steel, automotive, wood and paper manufacturers from across Europe. Regesta also specialises in domestic and international shipping services.

On the expansion of the park and Regesta’s additional space, Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni comments: “Expansions are always source of pleasure to us, because they represent the best confirmation of the attractiveness of the park, both in terms of its quality and location. Panattoni Park Tychy has excellent connections with the rest of Silesia, a region of key importance to the entire Polish economy. The expansion of the park in Tychy also confirms that the strength of the region is not just concentrated in one or two cities but lies in every part of the Silesian conurbation.”

Regesta, in leasing space in Panattoni Park Tychy, benefits from the attractive location of the complex. It is situated just 2 km from national road 44, which connects Upper Silesia with Kraków, and 5 km from the A1, the only north-south motorway in Poland, which runs through such cities as Gliwice, Łódź, Toruń and Gdańsk. In addition, Silesia’s well-developed road infrastructure and public transport network mean that the access to the park is excellent while the access to employees for companies is easier. The extension project in Tychy is further evidence of the excellent health of the Silesian warehouse and industrial space market. In the first half of 2020, this region had the third highest level of completions and at the end of June was first in terms of space under construction.

Panattoni Park Tychy is a class A warehouse complex with a current area of almost 35,800 sqm. The planned extension will increase this by another 17,000 sqm. Once fully built-out, the park will offer 70,500 sqm of space ideal for companies from a range of industries. The warehousing modules have been designed so that the space can be flexibly shaped, according to the specific needs of individual tenants. The park is suitable for both storage and light production, and offers highly manoeuvrable areas, zero level entrance gates and LED lighting, all of which has earned it BREEAM certification at the ‘Very Good’ level.
