Carlos Cuevas Serrano is joining Panattoni in Spain

Panattoni, market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, expands its team in the newly opened office in Spain. Carlos Cuevas Serrano was employed as the Development Director.

The Iberian branch of Panattoni in Spain, dedicated also to the Portuguese market, was opened at the beginning of February this year. Gustavo Cardozo Lupi took the lead of it. Now Carlos Cuevas Serrano joined the team as the Development Director. He will be responsible for market analysis, acquiring new clients and land and commercialization of investments.

“Strengthening the team is necessary and we are pleased that Carlos joined us. The office has been opened recently, but we are already finishing the first transactions. I am convinced that we will quickly create strong foundations for the development of Panattoni in the Iberian Peninsula, Europe's sixth largest logistics market" - says Gustavo Cardozo Lupi, Managing Director of the Spanish branch of Panattoni.

Carlos has a degree in Economics and an MBA. He has over 15 years of experience in industrial property logistics, gained with two of the most active Spanish real estate brokers. For the past 6 years, he has worked for CBRE, where he was promoted to the position of Director of Capital Markets for Real Estate Investments. He has handled transactions of more than 500 million euros, such as advising on the purchase of Prologis from the Magna (Colonial) portfolio, sale of a 30,000 sqm of asset in Los Gavilanes (Getafe), owned by Invesco, to M&G, or the sale of Amazon's Last Mile distribution warehouse in Bilbao to Nuveen.

Prior to his promotion, Carlos was Leasing Director at CBRE and Amazon Lead Broker, coordinating the opening of over 25 centres throughout Spain, including several BTS's on behalf of e-commerce players such as Illescas, Getafe, Seville or Bilbao, leading the last mile client’s expansion. Earlier, Carlos spent over 8 years at BNP Paribas as Senior Industry & Logistics Consultant coordinating leases in the logistics sector.

Panattoni, with nearly 10 million sqm of industrial and warehouse space completed, has been present for several years, apart from its native Poland, also on other large European logistics markets - German and British. The developer also operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. At the end of last year, the company opened a branch in the Netherlands and now in Spain.
